System requirements

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit x64. This package does not support ARM64 or 32-bit Windows.
• Java and the application engine are included. No separate Java, Node.js, Docker or PostgreSQL installation is required.
• Internet access is needed for downloads, updates and optional cloud features. API execution needs access to your configured API server.
• Minimum RAM and disk requirements have not yet been benchmarked. Allow space for the application, workspace data, downloaded updates and backups.

Installation

1. Download and run the Windows installer.
2. Choose an installation folder for your Windows account.
3. Open Knotless and enter your issued licence key to activate this computer.
4. Add your API environment. Sign in only if you want Community or cloud backup.

Activation requires internet access. A valid installation can then work offline for up to 30 days before refreshing its licence.

Finish active API requests and close Knotless before updating. Your local workspace and activation are retained during updates.
